"This is the best guide I have been able to find on Universal Orlando. The series is also really helpful in general. I have a couple of years for Universal and a couple for Disney World. I also have the 2017 Universal Orlando Unofficial Guide and wasn’t sure if it was worth updating. However, I’m glad I did. It had enough new information to make it worth it, at least to me. If you don’t spend too much time reading the guides, it might not be worth it for you though."

- I have recommended this guide repeatedly on Reddit. We have traveled all over the world, used multiple guides, and have not found any that compares to this guide. DO NOT travel to UO before using this guide to plan your visit. The guide will save you many, many times the purchase price, hours of time, and ensure maximum enjoyment of your visit. The guide encourages reading of the Harry Potter books for maximum enjoyment of these rides and exhibits. We borrowed the “Harry Potter Complete 8-Film Collection†of DVDs and enjoyed these rides and exhibits much more. Also, consider getting the related app identified in the guide, which can be used for planning and also in the park for daily forecasts, ride wait times, suggested tours, and much more. Finally, check out the lightweight backpack (forgot brand name, but begins with Z) offered on for only $15.99 and is ideal for your visit to UO.

Thanks to use of guide, app, and backpack we had a ball!! - Haven't been to Universal in over 10 years, so we decided to get this. It's great. It tells you everything you need to know about the parks, the hotels, the food. Even gives info on other hotels and restaurants in the area that are NOT Universal's, which is great. We found a hotel here that we probably wouldn't have found otherwise. Lots of info about how everything works, if you might want Express Pass. Gives multiple opinions on rides, too, which I liked. Big fan.

- We had not been to Universal Studios in years, and were planning to go on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. This book did not leave any questions we had unanswered. The information on the hotels is very extensive as was the information on all of the parks and the rides. I like how it includes the ratings by age groups of the rides and entertainment. The most helpful was the itinerary's which we used and changed around to our liking. You're paying a lot of money at these parks, and this book will help you get the most bang for your buck.

- This is my second "guide" purchase for Universal, the first one did not meet my expectations. This one met the expectations I have when I purchase a guide. I would recommend.
- Chock full of great Universal Orlando Information, but I had forgotten how painfully wordy the first few UG chapters always are. Also, I swear they are still using the same illustrations they did ten plus years ago.
- I bought this book when we were going to Disneyland 2 years ago and it was a life saver. This book also did not disappoint! It helps with a written plan in the back.
