• I used to go to the Cha Cha Hut when it was open in the Catskills (all three iterations). The food -- meats, sides and everything else they made -- were by far the best I've ever had in a BBQ place. I was excited when Frank decided to make a recipe book about all the non-smoked meats (he does talk about them as well, but that seems to be more art than science and well more than can be addressed in a short book). The hints and tips in the book also give insight into the challenges of running a restaurant.
  
  I haven't had a chance yet to actually make the sauces and other recipes but look forward to doing so. Assuming the recipes live up to what was served at the Hut, you'll love this book.
• My husband and I used to stop at the ChaCha Hut on our way to our Catskills weekend getaway and they always had hands-down the best BBQ always. I am now living in North Carolina and have not found any BBQ that comes close.
  When I saw that they came out with this cook book, I immediately bought a copy for myself for Christmas and I'm thrilled that I am able to at least try to recreate those recipes we enjoyed over the years each weekend on our way past their store.
  The memories of those wonderful weekends, amazing meals, and the time we spent chatting with Mark and Cherie while we waited for our meals all came flooding back with each recipe I attempt ( I say attempt, because I always enjoy food more when others cook it for me).
  I don't think you'd regret ordering this cook book. If you love good BBQ and don't mind cooking it, then buy this book
