Buckle Up. It's Going To Be Quite A Ride.
Despite his brooding bad-boy attitude, Brody's luxury charter airline, Sky High, provides the perfect escape route whenever things get complicated. And lately, things have become very complicated, thanks to the insanely passionate, or perhaps just insane, kiss he shared with Sky High's gorgeous, wisecracking concierge, Maddie. He's tried to keep his distance, but now Maddie desperately needs help, and it's triggering alpha-male urges Brody didn't even know he had--especially after he finds out that Maddie and her twin sister Leena are in big-time trouble. To save Leena, Maddie and Brody must pose as husband and wife. Good plan, except it's hard to tell if the heat in bed is acting or something too good to be true. . .

Superb and Sexy Sky High Air Jill Shalvis 9780758221858 Books Reviews
- During the first two books, readers got little snippets of the complex relationship between Brody and Maddie. Ms. Shalvis did an excellent job of building the suspense and sexual tension between the two love interests, especially in the second book, Strong and Sexy.
Maddie has recently left her job while she heals from her gunshot wound. Brody, being the overprotective, alpha male, takes matters into his own hands by traveling to the cabin she's staying at to bring her back home. Unbeknownst to him, Maddie has a twin sister who's staying at the cabin with her, resulting in some pretty funny mistaken identity on Brody's part. Brody tries his darnedest to convince Maddie to return to work. She refuses but won't give Brody the full truth behind her reasons. After some urging, and sweet talk, Maddie finally fesses up and clues Brody in on what's been going on and why she has to help her sister.
Posing as husband and wife, the two of them travel to the Florida Keys to put old demons to rest and get Maddie's twin sister out of trouble once and for all. Once there, the two of them can't keep their feelings for each other hidden any longer, nor their hands to themselves. They work together to get themselves out of a dangerous situation and back to safety at Sky High Air.
I have to admit, when I first started reading this book I was a tad bored. It started off a little slow. Brody and Maddie didn't make it to the Keys until halfway into the book. The first half the book was spent with Brody trying to convince Maddie to include him in her troubles. The two of them are dominant personalities who can't or won't budge from their point of view.
By the time I'd finished the book, I was pleasantly pleased with the way everything was tied up. The sexual tension between the two of them was just as strong in this book as it had been in the first two books. All in all, a good ending to the series.
Erin Kern
author of Looking for Trouble - This is the third of the series in the Sky High trilogy. This is the story of Brody, the 3rd pilot and mechanic for Sky High Air. He's the dark, brooding one of the bunch.
Maddie, Sky High Air's concierge is a multi-tasker extraordinaire - and with her short skirts, do-me heels & fitted tops - she's just begging to be noticed...by Brody.
Wisecracking to cover up her attraction, Maddie has Brody not knowing if he's coming or going - all he knows is that he's got it bad -for Maddie. But risking the "office romance" isn't big on his agenda...and it's only when Maddie's in trouble that Brody kicks into high gear. But posing as husband and wife? Will this lead to "wedded bliss" or at least some "hot nights" between the sheets? Will Maddie get her man? Will Brody get his gal? Read this novel to find out. - This is the third book in the series and my favorite! Jill Shalvis writes with such humor that I don't want to stop reading. The story kept me interested and excited to see what happened next. I really enjoyed all the characters in this series. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense!!
- 3 Stars - This was a decent book that you could read when you're out of high priority books. This is book 3 in the series and perhaps the first two needed to be read first because it felt it like I was dropped in the middle of a story. Not a memorable book.
- Conversations and internal monologues with the same or similar lines are repeated quite frequently in this book. I read to the end but begrudgingly. The plot didn't do it for me and I became frustrated with the dialogue.
- I love the Alpha Maleness of Brody's character and Maddie is an equal match for him with her strong willed fiestiness! This story has suspense, humor, romance, and family loyalty all mixed into an extremely well written and enjoyable book to read. I didn't want to put it down! Jill Shalvis remains one of my favorite romance novelists.
- After reading the first two in the series I will really looking forward to Maddie and Brody's story. This book really started off slow. The author spent an inordinate amount of time in retrospect of the characters. It took about the first 30-40 pages before she actually got into the meat of the adventure.
And in regard to the previous review that lied and said there was only one sex scene. She obviously stopped reading the book after that scene because it was not the only one in the book. If I had listened to that review only I would not have purchased or read the book at all.
It was a good enough read once you got past Maddie and Brody going on and on and on about how they felt about each other. Not at all worth the $8.96 price tag but I couldn't not read the last of the series. Was disappointed and now kinda leery about reading her other series with a hefty price tag for each book. - I really enjoyed this entire trilogy, and the last installment didn't disappoint. Another great read from Jill Shalvis, who consistently turns out well-written romance with likeable, believable characters, great chemistry and enaging (if sometimes wacky) plots. I'd recommend almost every book she's ever written, though fans will notice a distinct change in tone in her later works (earlier novels had a much darker/serious tone).
